4 Commitments
Are You Commited?

Greetings in Christ Jesus!
I wanted to write to you to commend you for taking the 4 Commitments Challenge this past Sunday at Calvary Chapel South Orlando. This commitment is not only a commitment to the fellowship of CCSO, this is a commitment toward spiritual growth in Christ.
Each one of these commitments are areas of commitment that the Christian is commanded in by Jesus himself. Let me briefly review the commitments with areas of action under each one.
The 4 Commitments
1. Worship Weekly
This is a commitment to weekly worship at Calvary Chapel South Orlando. This includes participation in our Sunday service and involvement with fellowship and discipleship groups – Ministry Fellowship Group, Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Couples Fellowship, HD His Disciple.
Action Steps
1. Commit to Regular (Weekly) Worship in our Sunday Service at 10am at 5232 S. Orange Ave.
2. Discover and plug in to one or more of our fellowship and discipleship groups.
2. Serve Humbly
This is a commitment to being a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and serving the body of Calvary Chapel South Orlando in one of its ministries.
Action Steps
- Discover an area ministry at CCso where you can invest your time and talent toward.
- Get plugged into that ministry and serve humbly and faithfully looking for those opportunities to be blessing to the body.
3. Give Generously
This is a commitment to being a tither. This means giving the tithe 10% of your income to the LORD at Calvary Chapel South Orlando. We are also introducing a new ministry at CCSO that will be called SHARE. We are also challenging each Christian to bring an offering of food for outreach ministry by bringing 1 non-perishable food item each Sunday for every member of your family.
Action Steps
1. Commit to being a regular tither.
2. Begin to bring the tenth (tithe) of your increase to the Lord at CCSO.
3. Look for God’s blessings (window of Heaven, Malachi 3:10) in your life as well as His provision.
4. Participate weekly in the ministry of SHARE by bringing and giving 1 non-perishable food item each Sunday for every member of your family.
4. Invite One
This is a commitment to be involved in evangelism and outreach by inviting at least 1 person to attend our Sunday service at Calvary Chapel South Orlando.
Action Steps
- Pick up invite cards weekly at CCSO.
- Look for opportunities to invite someone to CCSO’s Sunday Worship Experience (service).
- Invite at least one person a week but as many as you can as the Lord brings the opportunites.
Again, I commend you for committing to these 4 Commitments. I am excited to see what God is going to do at CCSO as we have made these commitments before the Lord. I believe we will see a move of God, and we will all know that it is God who builds the church as we obediently serve Him in the church. Amen!
Sincerely in Christ,
